I recommend this delightful article from the New York Times about pepper sauce in the Caribbean. I don’t have what it takes to consume as much heat as Mr Gross does, but I can attest that he has faithfully captured the ambiance and mystery surrounding this ubiquitous condiment. Happy reading.
